All New Ram Trucks Will Be Electric By 2030

Hot on the heels of Dodge’s announcement they would be making an electric muscle car for 2024, Ram also had some electrifying news. The news that the automaker would be a fully electric automaker and have an electric version of every model by 2030, including the Ram 1500 truck.
The electric 1500 is apparently due in 2024, the same year as the Dodge electric muscle car with more models to follow later.
The announcement came at the Stellantis EV Day last week, the same day Dodge made their announcement.
While 2024 is not long away, it’s later than the competition. That means Ram will have some catching up to do and will need to deliver an awesome truck as soon as they can!
2021 Ram 1500
The 2021 Ram 1500 is a full fat truck with great engines, lovely interiors and a mature design that shows many years of refinement. It’s hard to choose between the leading truck manufacturers but Ram manages to stand out for all the right reasons.
The 2021 Ram 1500 is a full size pickup with an attractive front end, huge grille with Ram badge, lots of trim and a large hood with lots of detailing. The rest of the truck is a conventional mix of simple panels, lots of glass and a spacious truck bed.
Inside the 2021 Ram 1500 is a nice place to be. Seats are comfortable, the driving position is commanding and there are lots of practical touches that make the truck easy to live with.
Make a few upgrades here and there and the cabin could be quite luxurious. Ideal if you’re spending 8-10 hours a day in it!
Ram engines and drivetrains
The 2021 Ram 1500 uses either a 3.6-litre V6 and a 5.7-litre V8 with or without mild hybrid assistance, a 3.0-litre turbodiesel and the 6.2-litre supercharged V8 in the TRX.
All engines use an 8 speed automatic transmission to power the rear or all wheels.
With coil springs, well-balanced suspension and a very stable chassis, the truck is great to drive whether it’s empty or full.
With lots of technology, great safety scores and the opportunity to create a truly comfortable truck to drive, it’s no wonder the Ram 1500 is so popular!
