Countdown to Labour Day Contest – Terms and Conditions (2025)

Eligibility:

The Countdown to Labour Day Contest ("Contest") is open to residents of Ontario, Canada, aged 19 years or older, excluding employees and immediate family members of Car Nation Canada and its family of dealerships, and any affiliates or partners associated with the Contest.

Contest Period:

The Contest begins on August 5th, 2025, and ends on September 1st, 2025 ("Contest Period").
All entries must be received by 11:59 PM Eastern Time on September 1st, 2025.

How to Enter:

Participants can enter the Contest by completing all of the following:

  1. Fill out the entry form provided on the Car Nation Canada website

  2. Like and follow Car Nation Canada's pages on Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn

  3. Like the main contest post

  4. Tag up to 5 friends per comment, up to 5 times, on the main contest post

  5. Share the contest post publicly on your social media profile

Only one entry form per person is allowed.
No purchase necessary to enter or win.

Additional Entries:

Participants may earn additional entries by:

  • Tagging more friends (up to 5 times total, with 5 tags per comment)

  • Sharing the contest on multiple platforms

Prize:

  • One (1) winner will receive a $500 prepaid Visa gift card

  • Prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other item

  • Car Nation Canada reserves the right to substitute the prize with one of equal or greater value if necessary

Winner Selection:

  • One (1) winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries received during the Contest Period

  • To be officially declared the winner, the selected entrant must correctly answer a time-limited, mathematical skill-testing question without assistance

  • The winner will be announced during the week of September 2nd, 2025, on Car Nation Canada’s website and social media channels

  • The winner will also be contacted directly via the email or phone number provided in the entry form

  • If the selected winner does not respond within 7 days, another eligible entrant will be selected

General Terms:

  • No purchase or payment of any kind is required to enter or win

  • Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received

  • Car Nation Canada reserves the right to disqualify any entries that are incomplete, fraudulent, or violate contest rules

  • Car Nation Canada may modify, suspend, or terminate the Contest at any time for any reason

Privacy:

Information collected during the Contest will be used in accordance with Car Nation Canada’s Privacy Policy.
By entering, participants consent to the use of their name and likeness in promotional materials without additional compensation.

Release and Limitation of Liability:

By participating, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Car Nation Canada, its affiliates, partners, employees, and agents from any and all liability arising out of or related to participation in the Contest or the acceptance, use, or misuse of the prize.

Governing Law:

This Contest is governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively by the courts of Ontario.
