Countdown to Victoria Day Contest - Terms and Conditions

 

## Eligibility:
1. The Countdown to Victoria Day Contest ("Contest") is open to residents of Ontario, Canada, aged 19 years or older, excluding employees and immediate family members of Car Nation Canada, and any affiliates or partners associated with the Contest.

## Contest Period:
1. The Contest begins on May 1st, 2024, and ends on May 19th, 2025 ("Contest Period").
2. All entries must be received by 11:59 PM Eastern Time on May 19th, 2025.

## How to Enter:
1. Participants can enter the Contest by completing the following steps:

2. Follow the associated Car Nation Canada social media page, like the Victoria Day Contest post, and tag friends on the post. Every five friends tagged counts as an entry, with a maximum of five entries from all social media platforms combined.

3. In order to be eligible, the user must complete the entry form available on Car Nation Canada and its family of dealerships' websites, but does not have to Follow the associated Car Nation Canada social media page, like the Victoria Day Contest post, and tag friends on the post.

4. A maximum of 8 total entries is allowed. 1 Entry by completing the entry form, 1 entry for liking a Victoria Day Contest social media post, 1 entry for following a Car Nation Canada family of dealership's social media account, and up to 5 total entries for the social media engagement mentioned in the points above.

## Prize:
1. The winner will receive a $500 prepaid Visa gift card.
2. The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other items.
3. Car Nation Canada reserves the right to substitute the prize with another of equal or greater value if necessary.

## Winner Selection:
1. The winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries received during the Contest Period.
2. The winner will be announced during the week of May 19th, 2025, on Car Nation Canada's family social media pages.
3. The winner will be contacted directly via the contact information provided on the entry form.

## General Terms:
1. No purchase or payment of any kind is necessary to enter or win the Contest.
2. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
3. Car Nation Canada reserves the right to disqualify any entries that are incomplete, illegible, or violate any of the Contest rules.
4. Car Nation Canada reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Contest at any time.

## Release and Limitation of Liability:
1. By participating in the Contest, participants agree to release and hold harmless Car Nation Canada, its affiliates, partners, employees, and agents from any and all liability for any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind arising from or in connection with the Contest or use of the prize.

## Privacy:
1. Information collected during the Contest will be used in accordance with Car Nation Canada's privacy policy.
2. By entering the Contest, participants consent to the use of their name and likeness for promotional purposes without additional compensation.

## Governing Law:
1. The Contest is governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada. Any disputes arising under or in connection with the Contest shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario.

## Changes to Terms and Conditions:
Car Nation Canada reserves the right to make changes to these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated through Car Nation Canada's website and social media pages.
