Civic Holiday Countdown Contest – Terms & Conditions (2025)

Eligibility:
The Civic Holiday Countdown Contest ("Contest") is open to residents of Ontario, Canada, who are 19 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees of Car Nation Canada, its family of dealerships, affiliates, contest partners, and their immediate family members (spouse, parent, child, sibling) are not eligible to participate.

Contest Period:
The Contest begins on July 4, 2025 and ends at 11:59 PM EST on August 4, 2025 ("Contest Period"). All entries must be received within this time frame to be eligible.

How to Enter:
Participants may enter by completing all of the following steps:

  1. Fill out the official entry form provided on the Car Nation Canada website.

  2. Like and follow Car Nation Canada’s social media pages.

  3. Tag a friend in the comments of the official contest post.

  4. Share the contest post on social media.

Limit: One entry per person. Duplicate entries will be disqualified.

Prize:

  • One (1) winner will receive a $500 prepaid Visa gift card.

  • The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other alternatives.

  • Car Nation Canada reserves the right to substitute the prize with one of equal or greater value if necessary.

Winner Selection:

  • The winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries.

  • The draw will take place during the week of August 5, 2025.

  • The winner will be announced via Car Nation Canada’s website and social media pages and contacted using the information provided on the entry form.

  • If the selected winner does not respond within 7 days of notification, an alternate winner may be selected.

General Terms:

  • No purchase is necessary to enter or win.

  • Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.

  • Entries that are incomplete, fraudulent, or violate contest rules may be disqualified.

  • Car Nation Canada reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the contest at any time, for any reason.

Release & Limitation of Liability:
By entering, participants release and hold harmless Car Nation Canada, its dealerships, affiliates, employees, and partners from any liability, claims, or damages arising out of participation in the Contest or use of the prize.

Privacy:
Personal information collected for the Contest will be used solely for contest administration and in accordance with Car Nation Canada’s Privacy Policy.
By entering, participants consent to the use of their name, likeness, and entry for promotional purposes without additional compensation.

Governing Law:
This Contest is subject to the laws of the Province of Ontario. Any disputes will be resolved exclusively in Ontario courts.

Changes to Terms & Conditions:
Car Nation Canada reserves the right to update or amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. All changes will be posted on the official Car Nation Canada website and social channels.
