The issue has led to millions of vehicle recalls across most major manufacturers in just about every country in the world. Your vehicle may already have been subject to a recall. Ford, Nissan and FCA are now recalling more to have their airbags checked.

Ford recall
Ford are expanding their existing recall and is adding the 2007-2010 Ford Edge, 2006-2011 Ford Fusion, 2005-2011 Ford Mustang, 2007-2011 Ford Ranger, 2007-2010 Lincoln MKX, 2006-2011 Lincoln MKZ, 2006-2011 Lincoln Zephyr and 2006-2011 Mercury Milan.

The recall will replace the front-passenger airbag inflator.

Nissan are also expanding their recall to include the 2005-2008 Infiniti FX35, 2005-2008 Infiniti FX45, 2003-2004 Infiniti I30. 2003-2004 Infiniti I35, 2006-2010 Infiniti M35, 2006-2010 Infiniti M45 and 2007-2011 Nissan Versa.

Nissan will also replace the front-passenger airbag inflator.

FCA recall
Like these other automakers, FCA is expanding their recall. It will include the 2005-2012 Chrysler 300, 2007-2009 Chrysler Aspen, 2008-2012 Dodge Challenger, 2006-2012 Dodge Charger, 2005-2011 Dodge Dakota, 2004-2009 Dodge Durango, 2005-2008 Dodge Magnum, 2004-2010 Dodge Ram 1500 2500 3500 4500 5500 and 2007-2012 Jeep Wrangler.
