Ram trucks have a long and illustrious history, the Power Wagon among them. Hence, the new 2021 Ram Power Wagon 75th Anniversary Edition.
The first Power Wagon apparently used WWII parts and design and was launched back in 1945. While it has come a long way since then and has changed immeasurably, the big Ram wants to honour its heritage with a special edition.

The 2021 Ram Power Wagon 75th Anniversary Edition is primarily a cosmetic model that looks moody. It’s a great option for those of us who don’t like chrome and for whom black is the only colour for bodywork if it isn’t body coloured.
The trucks gets a new grille badge, black graphics, black light surrounds, black aluminium wheels with 33 inch tires, black rock rails and a unique grille.
On the inside, new brown leather seats keep you comfortable with special logo on the back. New gloss black interior trim is everywhere and even the 12 inch screen with  Connect 4C Nav infotainment has a new page showing lots of off road data.
The truck also features a new 17-speaker, 750-watt Harman Kardon audio system.
The truck is available in Diamond Black Crystal, or two-tone Maximum Steel Metallic, Granite Crystal Metallic, Billet Silver Metallic, Hydro Blue, Patriot Blue, Delmonico Red, Flame Red, Bright White, Olive Green, Molten Orange and Anvil colours. Graphics are available with all options.
2021 Ram Power Wagon
The 2021 Ram Power Wagon looks and means business. It’s a big truck with high ground clearance and a no-nonsense exterior. Inside it’s as luxurious as you would expect from Ram with a few extras thrown in for good measure.
Under that huge hood is a 6.4-litre gas V8 engine that produces 410 hp and 429 lb-ft of torque. The Cummins diesel available in other 2500 trucks is not available here.
The truck comes with a lift kit, electronic transfer case, locking differentials front and rear, disconnecting front sway bar, front Warn Zeon-12 winch and luxury interior.
The 2021 Ram Power Wagon can tow up to 4,495 kg and carry up to 664 kg. That winch has a 5443 kg capacity should you get into trouble while on the road.
The 2021 Ram Power Wagon 75th Anniversary Edition takes an already handsome truck and makes it more so. There is a price markup for this edition but we think the colour, the lack of chrome and the overall first impression makes that premium well worth paying.
