Nissan Juke Black Pearl

Last week was a busy week for Nissan with the new 2017 Nissan Sentra Nismo and 2017 Nissan Rogue: Rogue One Star Wars Limited Edition. That wasn’t enough though as the Japanese automaker also had another trick up its sleeve, the Nissan Juke Black Pearl.
No, this isn’t another movie tie-in like Rogue One. The Nissan Juke Black Pearl is a special edition named after another special edition, a 280Z from 1978. It has an all black exterior with white accents on the front, side mirrors and rear spoiler, as well as door handles and elsewhere. Normally black and white looks boring, but monochrome suits the Juke!
This pattern is repeated in the interior too. Black upholstery and materials contrast a white centre stack and trim elements throughout. It looks a little like a tuxedo and has a similar impression of class too.
The Nissan Juke Black Pearl uses the standard Juke engine, the 1.6-litre turbo four that delivers 188 hp and 177 lb-ft of torque. The motor is connected to Nissan’s Xtronic CVT transmission that drives the front, or all wheels. Based on the SV trim, the Nissan Juke Black Pearl is front wheel drive as standard while AWD is an option. It will be limited to 1,250 units across North America.
2016 Nissan Juke
The 2016 Nissan Juke is a polarizing design. You really do either love it or hate it with not very much in-between. I happen to like it and think it is an excellent car that deserves all the praise it gets. It’s young, agile and doesn’t care what you think of it. For that I like it.
The Juke is a compact crossover that can seat four in comfort. The design is front heavy, so the front end and hood take up most of the limelight. Those lights, big fog lights, V-motion grille and curvy hood are all standout design features. A raked windscreen and curved roof give it a squat, compact look.
On the inside is typical Nissan. A no fuss cabin made from good materials, well laid out and finished to a very high standard.
The Juke is available as S, SV, SL, Nismo and Nismo RS trims. The S comes with alloy wheels, reversing camera, air conditioning, keyless entry and ignition, power everything, cruise control, Bluetooth, trip computer, Siri Eyes Free and USB connections. All other trims build up from there to include switchable driving modes, rooftip spoiler, limited-slip differential and other features.
The 2016 Nissan Juke is at Collins Nissan, 155 Scott Street, St. Catharines, Ontario, L2N 1H3. Visit us today for fantastic savings on this cool car!
