New 2016 Hyundai Tucson announced

New 2016 Hyundai Tucson announced

Hyundai announced the release date of the new 2016 HyundaiTucson this week along with a sketch of what it might look like and a short
video. The announcement was widely expected as we knew something was imminent
but we didn't think Hyundai would tease us in quite this way.

The 2016 Hyundai Tucson is expected around March, which is
only a month away. We find ourselves curiously impatient to see this new model.
We love the existing one and it sells well but this new version is set to
elevate the Korean automaker even further. It is expected to boast a more
premium design, more presence and more value. All things our discerning
customers look for in a new car!

Hyundai have released this video to showcase the 2016
Hyundai Tucson.

2015 Hyundai Tucson

The current Hyundai Tucson is an excellent compact crossover
with real family appeal. We sell lots of them across our dealerships and
feedback is universally positive. It's a modern, stylish design that really
sets it apart from the competition. Far from being boxy and boring, there is
plenty of interest in those body panels, the lights and the interior.

Value is also excellent, with lots of technology included in
the base model and lots more available in the GLS and Limited trims. Hyundai
have always been known for delivering excellent value and the Tucson is no
exception. The base GL offers air conditioning, power everything, 17 inch alloy
wheels, Sirius XM radio and Bluetooth.

Upgrade to the GLS trim for mixed leather and cloth
interior, a 4.3 inch touchscreen, cruise control, reversing camera, leather
steering wheel, heated seats, automatic lighting and fog lights. The Limited
trim adds 18 inch alloys, full leather interior, LED lighting, dual-zone
climate control, keyless entry and ignition and BlueLink infotainment.

Under the hood of the 2015 Tucson is either a 2.0-litre or a
2.4-litre engine. The 2-litre produces 164hp and 151 lb-ft of torque while the
2.4 delivers 182hp and 177 lb-ft of torque.

The official unveiling of the production model is apparently
the Geneva Motor Show in March, so we don't have long to wait. We'll cover the
event and let you know what we learn!
