Ford Bronco configuration tool is now live

Ford Bronco configuration tool is now live

If you have been waiting to build and order your Ford Bronco, now is a good time to do it. The Ford configuration tool went live on the 23rd of October but demand caused a number of outages on the site. Now things have calmed down a bit, you should be able to visit the page and built your perfect Bronco.

The Ford Bronco build and price tool can be accessed here.

We have been able to play around with the configurator for the Bronco Sport for weeks now but it’s only now that we can build the standard Bronco.

Build and Price your Bronco

The new tool covers all seven trims we know are coming for the Bronco, Base, Big Bend, Black Diamond, Outer Banks, Badlands, Wildtrak and First Edition. The tool also includes all available colours and options and there are many!

You can’t do much with the First Edition of course but the other trims can be customized to every conceivable taste and use.

Spend a little time with the build and price tool and you get an idea of exactly what the Bronco will look like and be capable of. And how much you can spend if you don’t look at the price of all those options you choose!

2021 Ford Bronco

The 2021 Ford Bronco is undoubtedly an attractive SUV. It remained surprisingly similar to the original concept we saw all that time ago with retro styling combined with modern styling cues.

It’s a simple design with flat front, flat panels with minimal detailing, a small overhang at each end, high ride height, flat roof and very few design flourishes.

We like it for its simplicity. Not only is it good looking, it also shouts practicality.

The Bronco is available in two and four door versions with removable roof and removable doors. It’s a great-looking SUV, especially with black wheels and off road tires.

Inside, the practicality continues with a healthy nod to luxury. It has wipeable surfaces and chunky trim but also comfortable seating, a touchscreen and all the technology you could want. An optional 12” touchscreen is a case in point.

Under the hood

Under the hood of the 2021 Ford Bronco is either a 2.3-litre EcoBoost four cylinder that delivers 270 hp and 310 lb-ft of torque or a 2.7-litre turbocharged V6 that produces 310 hp and 400 lb-ft of torque. Both use the awesome 10 speed automatic transmission or the optional seven speed manual.

The highlight of the Bronco is the inclusion of the Terrain Management System with G.O.A.T. (Go Over Any Terrain) modes. Those modes include Normal, Eco, Sport, Slippery and Sand, Baja, Mud/Ruts and Rock Crawl. It’s exactly what we wanted from this new vehicle!

There should be nowhere you cannot go with a properly configured Bronco. Order yours from Northway Ford Lincoln, 388 King George Road Brantford ON N3S 3N2.
