2022 Ram 1500 Classic Continues Offering Value

2022 Ram 1500 Classic Continues Offering Value

The Ram 1500 Classic was a smart move from Ram. It kept the older fourth generation truck and ran it alongside the new 5th generation truck and offered it as a cheaper alternative to those who didn’t need the latest version.

It seems the Ram 1500 Classic is continuing on through next year, which is great news for fleet managers and everyone else who likes the old design.

New 2022 Ram 1500 Classic

It has yet to be confirmed by Ram but rumours are all over the internet about the dealer ordering guide having been leaked already.

Apparently the 2022 Ram 1500 Classic will be getting a few updates but will remain true to the original plan. It still has the old design, still offers great value and still delivers a solid truck for less than current models.

The new options include a new Tradesman Off-Road Package with heavy-duty rear shocks, tow hooks, skid plates, all-terrain tires and raised ride height.

The existing Tradesman, Express and Warlock trims continue with regular, quad and crew cab body options, two and four wheel drive options and three bed lengths.

The other change is to the Electronics Convenience Group. It will now include Uconnect 5 with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

2021 Ram 1500 Classic

The Ram 1500 Classic is a full size truck that continues the good work it did during its reign as the current king of trucks., When superseded by the 5th generation, rather than sticking around for a year and then quietly disappearing, it remains.

Now, almost four years later, the Ram 1500 Classic is still going strong.

It looks exactly like the 2019 Ram 1500. It has the same design, same rugged appeal and same practicality. It also has the same comfortable interiors and configurable options list as before.

The Ram 1500 Classic is available in Tradesman, Express, and Warlock trim with varying levels of comfort. All are RWD as standard but can be specified as AWD if required.

The Tradesman is designed to be a practical workhorse with steel wheels, wipe down interior, vinyl seating and Uconnect 3.

The Express trim adds more paint options, aluminium wheels, black trim, chrome trim options, fog lamps, dual exhaust and SiriusXM.

The Warlock is the all-black option you see in the image. It’s black everywhere with black trim, black wheels, cloth seats and lots of optional extras. You can also upgrade with Warlock All-Terrain Package, Luxury Group, Heated Seats and Wheel Group, and others.

The downside with the Ram 1500 Classic is that it doesn’t include any safety technology. You get ParkView reversing camera, electronic stability control and Sentry Key theft-deterrent system, but that’s it.

The 2021 Ram 1500 Classic is designed to deliver maximum value and a truck we know and trust. It’s a no frills truck but that’s the point. So far, it seems to be going down very well!
