640 × 388
The first 2019 Ram 1500 trucks are rolling off the production line and heading to dealerships across the US. Canadian deliveries should follow shortly. The updated version of the inimitable Ram truck will be on the roads near you soon. Don’t you want one?

The pricing released by Ram shows only a slight price increase over the current model. So even though you’re getting a lighter, stronger, better equipped and arguably better looking truck, you won’t be paying much extra for it!

‘In launching the all-new 2019 Ram 1500, we knew it was important to offer class-leading features and technology. But it’s also important to offer our great product at a competitive price,’ said Mike Manley, head of the Ram brand, in a statement. ‘We feel that we’ve delivered the right no-compromise mix that Ram Truck customers will appreciate.’

2019 Ram 1500
Ever since we first glimpsed the concept, we have loved the new look on the 2019 Ram 1500. Changes are subtle but they really are effective.

Changing the grille from the crosshair to a horizontal grille with Ram in the centre makes the look more modern from the off. Including the front lights into it and changing the shape slightly just adds to that contemporary look. With the familiar profile, simple lines and excellent interior, the Ram is going to be a strong truck.

Inside, things are exactly as you would expect. The industry leading interior build is still present and there is even more space and technology to enjoy should you wish. The driving position is high and enjoys great visibility. All controls are within reach and there are still lots of cubbies for storage. You can still specify your truck with everything you could ever wish for too.

With an eTorque-equipped 3.6-litre V6 or a Hemi V8 engine, power is not something you will be short of. Both engines will use a new TorqueFlite eight speed automatic transmission to send power to the rear wheels. There is an AWD of course.

The air suspension option for which the Ram 1500 is so famous is still available and has been improved to help road holding and deliver a smoother ride both laden and empty. When loaded, the Ram can haul 2,300 pounds or tow 12,750 pounds when properly equipped.

The new Ram 1500 also takes safety seriously with the option of front and rear parking sensors, adaptive cruise control with full-stop, adaptive front-lighting, advanced brake assist with automatic braking, blind spot monitoring and lane keep assist. Whether these come as standard or as an option depends on the trim you choose.

The 2019 Ram 1500 is an excellent improvement on an already outstanding truck. Visit Unique Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, 915 Walkers Line, Burlington, ON  L7N 3V8 to order yours!
