Resale value should never be a reason to buy any particular vehicle but if it just adds to the pleasure of owning something all the better. That’s the case with the 2019 Jeep Wrangler. Regarded as having the second best resale value this year, it is just another reason to buy a Jeep.

The assessment of resale values was performed over at Kelley Blue Book. They looked at a selection of trucks, cars and SUVs and came up with a top ten list according to resale value. The 2019 Jeep Wrangler came second. They assess that the Jeep had a resale value of 66.5% after 36 months and 58.3% after 60 months. That’s not bad going for a vehicle designed to be used hard!

The Ford F-Series trucks also featured coming in in ninth place with 57.5% after 36 months and 50.6% after 60 months.

2019 Jeep Wrangler
The 2019 Jeep Wrangler JL has been completely redesigned from the ground up. It still looks and feels like a Jeep but has been updated in terms of design, technology and handling. All things that contribute to the pure joy that comes with owning one of these off roaders.

The design is still typical Jeep with the rounded lights, big grille, standout fenders and rolled hood. It has been subtly updated and definitely looks like a newer version of our favourite off roader.

It is on the inside where the real changes have happened. New better quality cloth and leather make up the seats. The front seats are new and much more supportive while being easily accessible. Rear leg and headroom is decent and the rear seats are fine for daily driving. There is also decent cargo space in back should you need it.

The Wrangler comes standard with the 3.6-litre V6 that produces 285 hp but you can also have a 2.0-litre turbo four mild hybrid with 270 hp. Both use a manual or automatic transmission to send power to all wheels.

The Wrangler is available in Sport, Sport S, Sahara or Rubicon trims. You can spec it truly basic for hardcore off roading or increase the comfort and technology for occasional rough use. The options list is impressive and there is enough scope here to customize your Wrangler exactly to your needs.

As you would expect, the off road options for the Wrangler are wide and varied. They include the Sport and Sahara trims for dedicated rough roads, new coil springs, a tuned steering system, better insulation, the option for Dana axles, 33 inch off road tires, locking differential, sway bars, skid plates, part time transfer case and all that good stuff.

The resale value is just one of many reasons why you should buy a 2019 Jeep Wrangler as your next car. Take a test drive at Unique Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, 915 Walkers Line, Burlington, ON  L7N 3V8 to see what we mean!
