2019 Ford Ranger Accessories Leaked

2019 Ford Ranger Accessories Leaked

600 × 372

I never thought I would ever say this but I am really looking forward to the 2019 Ford Ranger. I never thought I would say that about a truck being a city boy but here it is. I am even more excited now I have had a look at the Ford accessory list that leaked last week.

The leaked accessory list is still up over at the Ranger5G forum and shows a host of factory accessories for a truly custom Ranger. It looks official and contains pricing for many of the elements too which adds to its credibility. Some of the pricing data has yet to be completed so the final list or pricing is likely subject to change but it does give you an idea of what to expect.

Of interest is the range of load bed options with covers, storage boxes, liners, rails and more. There are also multiple alarm options, rear park assist, LED lighting, remote start, bull bar, exhaust tips, exterior trim options and lettering, custom graphics and a whole lot more.

The pricing isn’t too bad either. We all know how speculative manufacturer’s accessories are priced and Ford hasn’t decided to gouge buyers as automakers usually like to. Some prices are still TBD but you now have a good idea of what to expect from the new Ranger.

2019 Ford Ranger

The 2019 Ford Ranger is a welcome return for midsize truck fans. After watching Chevrolet and Honda sew up the market for too long, Ford decided to re-enter the fray with a variation of a truck they had been selling elsewhere for many years, the Ranger.

This model is all new and will be an all new global model. It has been redesigned to sit comfortably alongside the F-150 while being smaller and easier to live with. The familiar look is welcome, with tall front end, panel detailing everywhere, high ride height but more modest dimensions.

It is available as a SuperCab or SuperCrew in three trims. It features independent front suspension, solid rear axles, tuned suspension and a dedicated off roader in the FX4.

The engine is the all-conquering EcoBoost 2.3-litre turbo four that delivers 270 hp. Ford’s 10 speed automatic transmission will send power to the rear or all wheels. This gives the Ranger a 1,860-lb. maximum payload and a 7,500-lb. tow capacity. So even though this is a light truck, it can still get the job done.

The order books are already open for the 2019 Ford Ranger with deliveries expected early 2019. Visit Northway Ford Lincoln, 388 King George Road Brantford ON N3S 3N2 to build yours!
