The same Chrysler Pacifica ‘S’ appearance package did very well for the standard vehicle so now the hybrid is getting it too. The Chrysler people carrier is bringing the hybrid into line with standard drive vehicles by offering a very cool all-black appearance package for all models.
As the name suggests, the S Appearance Package is all about the looks. It includes black trim, black alloy wheels, black accents, black light surrounds and black body colour. Essentially, if you dislike chrome in any form on your vehicle, this is the one to get. On the inside, you get black interior trim, black and grey stitching and black around the instruments.
It looks very cool, even on a family hauler and is sure to help the hybrid keep up with its contemporaries!

The 2018 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid is a plug-in hybrid, the only one available at the time of writing. Based on the insanely popular Pacifica minivan, it brings green motoring to family life and enables both to live side by side.
The 2018 Chrysler Pacifica should need little introduction. A thoroughly modern minivan that owns the segment right now. It looks great, drives like a car and can seat seven in real comfort while carrying groceries or family stuff around. That’s seven adults in comfort too, not just the kids in back. It is a genuinely spacious vehicle.
Chrysler has done an excellent job of turning an obviously limited design into something cool. There isn’t much you can do to reshape the required shape of a minivan but Chrysler have made the best of it. With the low front and rounded panels, the design is simply excellent.
The 2018 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid uses the Chrysler 3.6-litre V6 running the Atkinson Cycle alongside a pair of electric motors and 16 kWh battery pack. Combined output is 260 hp and it has an electric-only range of around 33 miles. The only compromise for the hybrid powertrain is the loss of Stow’n’Go in the second row in order to fit the batteries. Other than that, there are no downsides to this version.
With a five star safety rating, both the standard Pacifica and hybrid are safe for family life. They can be specced with blind-spot monitors, rear parking sensors, rearview camera, adaptive cruise control, parking assist, surround-view camera system and forward-collision warning with automatic emergency braking can also be featured if you wish.
