Nissan 370Z is a driver's car. It continues the tradition of the Nissan Z cars and delivers an excellent driving experience while also
exhibiting great road manners. It looks pretty good too.
New for the
2016 model is Bose audio as standard on everything except the base model and
the introduction of Active Noise Control and Active Surround Enhancer from the
Nissan 370Z is an affordable sports car that doesn't feel as though it was
built to a budget. It is sports through and through, so few compromises are
made for comfort. This is for zipping around the streets at pace, not for
munching highway miles. That said, it is one of the few true sports cars that
can be an everyday driver without giving you a headache.
retains that same character displayed throughout the 370Z's history. It's
rounded, friendly and simple in design. A big vent at the front flows into
shaped headlights and a long curved hood. A raked windshield flows smoothly
down to a tight rear end while flared wheel arches give it a very planted look.
signature quality is everywhere. It is a surprisingly nice interior for a pure
sports car and a nice one at that. Bucket seats hold you safe and secure while
you drive and a clear instrument cluster ensures you're fully in control. The
binnacle moves as you tilt the steering wheel so you always have a clear view,
a nice touch.
Space is at
a premium inside which actually delivers a snug feel rather than a squashed
one. Good visibility and lots of glass help there. Plus, the quality of the
interior makes you feel right at home.
hood is a 3.7-litre V6 engine that delivers 332 hp and 270 lb-ft of torque. It
is mated to a six speed manual transmission to send power to the rear wheels. A
seven-speed auto with rev-matching is an option. The 370Z Nismo ups the power
from the same engine to 350 hp and 276 lb-ft of torque.
Nissan 370Z is available as a coupe or a convertible and six trim levels, base,
Touring, Sport, Sport Tech, Nismo and Nismo Tech. Specifications are generous
even on the base model which offers 18 inch alloy wheels, bi-xenon headlights,
summer sports tires, LED running and taillights, keyless entry and ignition,
climate control, leather steering wheel and CD audio.
Nissan 370Z is a sports thoroughbred that manages to deliver a blistering ride
without being too skittish. It is the ideal balance between a weekend track day
car and everyday commuter. We love it!
