640 × 480
The 2016 Lincoln MKS received a boost last week as the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration awarded it a five star safety rating. It proves that the car is not only great looking and nice to drive, this Lincoln keeps you safe too!

The NHTSA awarded the five star rating to the front and side crash tests and four stars in the rollover crash test. This applies to both the front wheel drive version and the all-wheel drive car.

Safety is at the heart of the 2016 Lincoln MKS. The standard models comes with antilock brakes, stability and traction control, front-seat side airbags, side curtain airbags, a rearview camera and rear parking sensors. Optional safety tech includes adaptive cruise control, front-collision warning with brake support, blind-spot detection, rear cross-traffic warning systems and lane-keeping assist.

Lincoln MyKey ups the ante with programmable driving characteristics that are ideal for inexperienced drivers. If something does happen, Sync will let loved ones know and automatically call the emergency services.

2016 Lincoln MKS
The 2016 Lincoln MKS offer quiet luxury without the fanfare of many other premium models. There is no swathes of chrome, no huge wheels or design ideas that shout money. There is just a competent car ready to do its best, ready to whisk you to your destination in comfort.

The design is understated with the signature grille the only real sign that this is Lincoln. We like it that way. The styling is simple yet refined and offers that competence that many other marques can only aspire to.

Inside is as luxurious as you would hope from Lincoln with comfortable seating, logical controls and very high quality materials. Active noise cancellation means you hear very little from the outside while you’re inside, adding to that feeling of luxury.

Under the hood is either a 3.7-litre V6 that delivers 304 hp or a 3.5-litre twin turbo EcoBoost V6 that delivers 365 hp. Both engines are throaty when they need to be, responsive and smooth. The six speed automatic transmission sends power to the front or all wheels. Driving characteristics are good with the electric power steering making light work of city driving while being responsive enough on the highway. A good combination that makes the 2016 Lincoln MKS suitable for any type of driving.

With a huge list of features and options, from active parking to heated and ventilated seats, navigation to a THX II audio system, it’s safe to say every 2016 Lincoln MKS is fully loaded.

The 2016 Lincoln MKS is a luxury car that delivers on its promises. Visit Northway Ford Lincoln, 388 King George Road Brantford ON N3S 3N2 for the latest offers!
