2024 Ford Mustang Spotted Under Camouflage

2024 Ford Mustang Spotted Under Camouflage

The 2024 Ford Mustang has been spotted under camouflage out in the wild. The 7th generation of the popular pony car is well-camouflaged but you get an idea of the proportions and overall shape.

The Ford has been delayed a while because of the pandemic and parts shortages. We were supposed to see this as a 2023 model but a combination of factors has apparently delayed release until 2024.

Development is still ongoing though, as you can see.

2024 Ford Mustang

The overall look and feel of the Mustang looks to remain on familiar territory. A coupe shape with long curved hood, angled lights, segmented light elements and a familiar taillight arrangement tells us this will be more evolution than revolution.

Which is fine with us because we love the current model!

Although, aside from a few special editions, the current manifestation has been with us since 2015. While it has been refreshed since, it’s still the same look and feel.

What you see is what you get at the moment as there’s no detail on engines, hybrid options, electric options or anything.

As the full reveal was delayed from late 2022 until 2023, we have a while yet to speculate.

2022 Ford Mustang

The 2022 Ford Mustang is part of the progam of steady improvement since launch. Changes are modest and mostly invisible to the eye but most elements of the car have been changed since launch.

We now have a lovely looking sports car that’s more accessible than ever before. Easier to drive, easier to have fun with and to live with as a daily driver.

There’s also a variant for everyone. Smaller engines for commuters and a big V8 for those who want the full experience.

The design is all sports. A long sinuous hood with low front end, mean-looking lights with big grille, steeply raked windshield and tidy rear end to complete the look.

The cabin is driver-centric but great for passengers too. Materials are of a high quality, nothing rattles or makes noise and everything looks to have been put together very well.

Under the hood

You get a few engine options with the 2022 Ford Mustang. It all starts with a turbocharged 2.3-litre four cylinder with two versions offering 310 hp or 330 hp.

Then there’s the 5.0-litre V8 with 450 hp, a tweaked Mach 1 version with 470 hp and the supercharged 5.2-litre V8 in the GT500 with 760 hp.

All use a version of Ford’s excellent 10 speed automatic or a slick manual transmission to drive the rear wheels.

The Mustang includes automatic emergency braking, active lane control, blind-spot monitors and automatic high-beams as standard to keep you safe on the road.

An optional surround-view camera system and parking sensors is also a good investment.

We cannot wait for the 2024 Mustang but the present model is pretty good too. Check it out at Northway Ford Lincoln, 388 King George Road Brantford ON N3S 3N2.
