Ford Offering 80 MPG Car

Ford has announced that it has a European diesel version of the Focus Econetic that has been rated at "80 mpg". Unfortunately, this rating is a little misleading. European and US EPA ratings use different units of measure and are calculated differently. For starters, European rating agencies use the imperial gallon which is 20% bigger than the US gallon.
