2013 Nissan Altima Coming This Summer
At Collins Nissan of  St. Catharines, we’re anxiously awaiting the arrival of the all-new 2013 Altima. Two decades after the original Nissan Altima revolutionized the traditional mid-size sedan segment in North America, Nissan’s best-selling vehicle is about to shake up the category all over again. Making its world debut at the New York International Auto Show, the 2013 Nissan Altima is once again poised to become the new benchmark in the hotly contested segment when it goes on sale this summer.

The 2013 Altima Make-Over
Completely redesigned, the model has evolutionary styling with a prominent grille, angular headlights and an upward sweeping shoulder line. Other highlights include muscular fenders, unique taillights and a dual exhaust system.
Moving on to the interior, the cabin has a three-spoke steering wheel, wood trim and metallic accents. There’s also an “Advanced Drive-Assist” display that is integrated into the instrument cluster and shows navigational information.
Engine Options for the Altima
Under the hood, two engines will be available. The 2.5-liter four-cylinder should produce 180 hp (134 kW / 183 PS) and 180 lb-ft (243 Nm) of torque while achieving a best-in-segment fuel economy of 38 mpg highway. The 3.5-liter V6 which produces an estimated 270 hp (201 kW / 274 PS) promises to be more fuel efficient than the BMW 328i. All Altima models come equipped with a standard next-gen Xtronic CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission).
Nissan has not released pricing for the 2013 Altima yet, but since Nissan has set its sights on the Toyota Camry and the coveted number one selling vehicle status, pricing will be competitive, and it’s not expected to top last years model, by much.

Why don't you make one?
